A Vietnamese 53-year-old man was discharged on May 22 from hospital after nearly one month of treatment for A/H1N1 influenza, Lam Dong general hospital reported.
The man, who works as a guard at a hotel in Da Lat city, was the first in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong to be contracted with the virus so far this year.
On April 24, he was admitted to hospital with symptoms like coughing, high temperature, breathing difficulty. Two days later, his health condition was worse, falling in coma and suffering respiratory failure.
He was tested positive with A/H1N1 virus and received special treatment in an isolated room.
His health condition had shown quick recovery thanks to drastic treatment, the hospital said.-VNA
