The agency said the group of 38 Vietnamese were among 100 tourists stuck in the northwestern province of Gansu on July 12 when they were on the way to a natural reserve in nearby Sichuan province.
The tourists were later free following urgent road repair work.
Storms and rains hit China’s northwest and southwest areas since July 8 triggering flooding and mudslides, claiming dozens of lives while over 100 have gone missing.-VNA
