Lao dailies have included articles on Vietnam and its achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Feb. 3).

The Pasason daily under the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on Feb. 3 carried on its front page an article titled “80 years of development of the Communist Party of Vietnam.”

The article highlighted the country’s socio-economic achievements, especially the national renewal under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV). Those achievements effectively helped improve people’s living standards and raise Vietnam’s position in the international arena.

It stressed that the CPV and the LPRP are fraternal parties, which were born from the Indochina Communist Party founded by President Ho Chi Minh, and the two states have a special friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

The Lao Party and people were grateful at the great assistance from Vietnam.

Other dailies, including Phatthana, the Vientiane Times and the Vientiane May also wrote on Vietnam and the two countries’ cooperation./.
