A Lao delegation of cadres and students has visited a relic which is connected with the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) during their socio-economic fact finding tour to the northern province of Hoa Binh.
At a reception in Hoa Binh province on March 5, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Cuu said he was proud of receiving the delegation to the historical site where the second preparation LPRP congress took place.
Cuu expressed his belief that the ninth LPRP Congress slated for this month will set forth Laos’ development strategies.
Lao Ambassador to Vietnam Sunthon Saynhachac, who is also head of the delegation, told the host that as his country is preparing for the ninth LPRP Congress, the visit is an opportunity for Lao cadres and students to study Laos’ former generations and express their gratitude to the Party Committee, authorities, volunteer soldiers and war martyrs of Hoa Binh province for their assistance to Laos’ revolution.
He committed to further preserving and developing the special friendship between the two countries./.
