Addressing the opening ceremony, the academy’s Director Ta Ngoc Tan said that during the past 25 years of renewal, Laos has obtained great achievements. At present, the country’s opportunities and challenges require key officials to possess the necessary virtue and competence to meet new demands.
The academy began training and refresher courses for Lao Party officials through its cooperative plans with the Lao National Politics and Administration Academy , he said.
During the five-month course, the Lao trainees will study the key principles of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s Thought and the Vietnamese Communist Party’s leadership experience as well as the latest knowledge on management./.
