Thai Nguyen (VNA) – Representatives of the Organisation Commission of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and leaders of Vietnam’s northern province of Thai Nguyen have exchanged experience in Party building and personnel work.
At a reception for a delegation of the LPRP Central Committee’s Organisation Commission in Thai Nguyen on May 23, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Xuan Hoa highlighted active progresses in Party and political system building in the locality.
Thanks to efforts made by the provincial Party Committee, the structure and quality of Party members have been improved significantly, he said.
Chansy Phosikham, head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Organisation Commission, expressed his delight at achievements Thai Nguyen has recorded in socio-economic development, Party and political system building, national defence and security, and external affairs, stressing the province’s experience in implementing the Party’s resolutions.
During their stay in Thai Nguyen, the Lao officials burnt incense at the memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh in Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district, and visited the Thai Hai preservation area of ecological stilt house village, the Tan Cuong tea zone and the Ho Nui Coc tourism area.
On May 22, they were received by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Nguyen Phu Trong who asked the Organisation Commissions of the Central Committees of the CPV and the LPRP to continue working closely together to boost the exchange of information and experience in Party and political system building, and personnel training.-VNA
