At such sites as the International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre, the National Cultural Hall and the Namphu Fountain, municipal authorities organised a host of entertainment and musical programmes with the performance of famous domestic and foreign singers and bands.
The New Year atmosphere also filled Vientiane’s boulevards like Lan Xang, Souphanouvong and Kayson Phomvihane, which became splendid with decorations during recent days.-VNA
