They said as Vietnam and Laos are expected to hold a grand ceremony to celebrate the accomplishment of the building of border markers and the inauguration of border marker No. 460, the Prime Ministers of the two countries will attend the event.

This meaningful event takes place when the mutual traditional friendship, solidarity and multi-faceted cooperation between the two nations have been increasingly consolidated and deepened, the newspapers said.

Vietnam and Laos share 2,067 km of border line, which is also the longest border line of Laos with a neighbouring country.

The Lao press also reported that the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold a press conference to announce the plan of the celebration ceremony.-VNA
