Three of the four newly confirmed cases are school boys, who went to Thailand for a sport event in a 10-member sport delegation aging 14 and 15 years old. Two of them were tested positive with the A/H1N1 virus in Thailand and the other was found positive with the virus later in Laos, said the Vientiane Times on July 6.
The fourth is a Lao student returning from New Zealand. He was tested positive to the A/H1N1 virus after showing high body temperature.
The newly confirmed cases were isolated and provided with medical treatment at a centre in Vientiane. Those who had contacts with the patients were checked health./.
