Laos holds ASEAN Quiz National Competition
The Lao Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, in collaboration
with the ASEAN Sub-committee on Information, organised the 6th ASEAN
Quiz National Competition in Vientiane on July 23 as a preparation for
the upcoming regional event.

As many as 36 students from 12 high schools across the country took part in the competition. They experienced three rounds of competition, answering questions on ASEAN.
The top three will represent Laos at the 6th ASEAN Quiz Regional Competition, scheduled to take place in Hanoi in August.
Initiated in 2004, the contest aims to better ASEAN students’ understanding about the history, socio-culture, politics and economy of the association as well as promote friendship and solidarity among the regional young people.-VNA
