Japan ’s Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada wrapped up his visit to Laos on July 25 during which the two sides agreed to strengthen their cooperation in a series of areas.
In a meeting in Vientiane , Minister Okada and Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh agreed to cooperate on measures to curb global warming and efforts to reform the United Nations.
Minister Okada assured the Lao PM that Japan will continue to provide support to Laos in addressing poverty and proceeding with economic development.
