The event is part of activities in the framework of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012.
At the meeting, the Lao participants recalled the time, when they lived and studied in Vietnam.
They thanked the Vietnamese teachers for helping them during the time of hardship and wished the teachers constant good health.
Lao students also expressed their hope that their teachers will continue to educate Vietnamese and Lao generations on the traditional friendship and special solidarity between the two countries, which was developed and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane.-VNA
