Bridge 4 spanning over the Mekong river in northern Laos.
Each side will be responsible for half of the capital investment in the project. The Laos Government’s 20 million USD capital will be granted by the Chinese Government under the loan contract signed between both sides last year.
The construction of the bridge will officially start in February 2010 and be completed after 30 months of construction.
The Friendship Bridge 4, which is 480m long and 14.7m wide, will connect Huoixai district of Laos’ Bokeo province and Chiang Phong district of Thailand’s Chiang Rai province./.
