As many as 300 enterprises from all over Vietnam are showcasing their products at the Hanoi Gift Show 2014, one of the country’s biggest fairs on handicrafts and gifts.

More than 500 booths are on display at the expo, featuring all kinds of products, such as home décor and handicrafts, indoor and outdoor furniture, home textiles and embroidery.

The event includes an exhibition space that displays the high-end products of the “one village, one product” movement with the participation of businesses from Vietnam and other ASEAN member states, including Indonesia, Laos and Nepal.

Furthermore, a field trip to craft villages for foreign businesses is being carried out during the expo with the hope of seeking trade partnerships and expanding the country’s handicrafts and gift market.

The fair brings together craft associations, trade promotion organisations and almost 600 international importers from all over the world.

The expo, the fourth of its kind in the city, is hoped to be an annual and well-known event that boosts development in the field of handicrafts and gifts.
