Head of the Government Office Vu Duc Dam and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh have been approved as new Deputy Prime Ministers with majority votes.

The National Assembly deputies cast their votes at their sitting in Hanoi on November 13.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung congratulated two new Deputy PMs, saying that he believes they will dedicate themselves to fulfilling their assigned tasks, repaying the trust that lawmakers and citizens have placed in them.

Legislators later also voted in favour of the Prime Minister’s proposal removing Dam from his former duties at the Government Office.-VNA
