Vietnam’s top leaders paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on Jan. 31 on the occasion of the 81st anniversary (Feb. 3) of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
The delegation included Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Nguyen Minh Triet, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Huynh Dam.
The delegates expressed their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, a beloved leader of Vietnam, a great teacher of Vietnam’s revolution, a national liberation hero who devoted his life to the national independence and people’s freedom and happiness and laid an ideological foundation for the Party’s revolutionary cause and helped the country on the pathway to the renovation process and advance to socialism.
The delegation also laid wreaths at the Martyrs Monument in Hanoi.
Also on this occasion, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung burnt incense at President Ho Chi Minh relics at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.
PM Dung expressed his gratitude for the great contributions by President Ho Chi Minh – a national liberation hero and a brilliant cultural example to the struggles for national liberation and construction./.
