Leaders make visits on War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan on July 24 visited 20 families of war invalids and fallen soldiers in Dai Dong commune, Tien Du district, the northern province of Bac Ninh, on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

She reminded thelocal authorities to continue implementing the State’s preferentialpolicy towards people who have rendered services to the nation.

The same day, National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan paidtribute to fallen soldiers at a cemetery in the Mekong Delta provinceof Long An and presented gifts to families of war martyrs in theprovince.

On this occasion, various activities arebeing held nationwide to pay tribute to those who have made greatcontributions to the nation and the revolution.-VNA
