Leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, war heroes

VN’s top leaders on July 25 laid a wreath and offered incense in tribute to war heroes and martyrs.
Vietnam’s top leaders on July 25 laid a wreath and offered incense atthe Monument to war Heroes and Martyrs in Hanoi on the occasion of the67th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The delegation included General Secretary of theCommunist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Nguyen Phu Trong, State PresidentTruong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National AssemblyChairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland FrontCentral Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, among others.

A number of former leaders, including former Party General SecretaryLe Kha Phieu, former President Tran Duc Luong, former Chairman of theNational Assembly Nguyen Van An, also attended the event.

Later, they also paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.

Also on July 25, many delegations from the CPV Central Military Commission,ministries and localities also laid wreaths at the monument and paidhomage to the late President.-VNA
