The Lotte Mart retail group of the Republic of Korea (RoK) has kicked off construction of a trade centre in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho.

Covering more than 15,756 sq.m in An Hoa ward, Ninh Kieu district, the centre will be built at a cost of over 31 million USD.

Lotte Mart Can Tho will be a trade complex with a supermarket, a shopping mall, an entertainment area and a food court. The project is expected to be completed later this year.

At present, Lotte Mart has seven trade centres in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Binh Thuan.-VNA
