– Prime Minister NguyenXuan Phuc has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids andSocial Affairs on the 2020 Lunar New Year holiday.

Under the proposal, employees in Stateadministrative agencies, non-productive establishments, political andsocio-political organisations will have seven days off from January 23 to 29 tocelebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rat.

The Lunar New Year is the biggest festival in ayear for Vietnamese. It is traditionally an occasion for family reunion, andmost people will try to return to the home village for the celebration./.
