Kuala Lumpur (VNA) - Malaysia and China signed eight governmental agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in various fields on November 24, during Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang’s visit.
The deals included a Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters, an MoU on quality and safety of Malaysian palm oil exported to China, an MoU on cooperation in the fields of registration of market entities and trademarks; an agreement on enhancing cooperation in production; a cooperation programme to enhance bilateral trade, economic and investment ties and an MoU on the establishment of a port alliance.
There was also an MoU on the establishment of the China Cultural Centre in Malaysia.-VNA
