Malaysian authorities are on the hunt for three more suspects related to the Bangkok blast on August 17, announced the country’s Deputy Minister and Interior Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on October 1.

Malaysian media quoted Hamidi as saying Thai authorities had given the suspects’ names to Malaysian police during a meeting between the two sides.

The Deputy PM also said the Malaysian authorities had requested the suspects’ biometrics and DNA profiles, which would make it easier to identify the suspects and make arrests.

Malaysian police have so far arrested eight people related to the Shrine Erawan bombing that led to 20 deaths and over 120 injuries.-VNA
