Hanoi (VNA) – The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) hopes to increase cooperation and experience exchanges with the Vietnam Air Force, a Malaysian official has said.

General Tan Sri Dato Sri Roslan bin Saad, Chief of the RMAF, made the remark at a meeting with Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy Minister of National Defence, in Hanoi on August 17.

He said the current working trip to Vietnam has helped him learn more about the tradition and achievements of the Vietnamese air force in national defence, as well as its ready-to-fight training sessions.

Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang highlighted the comprehensive and effective cooperation between the two countries in military and defence.
