On the same day, PM Najib Razak joined his Singaporean Lee Hsien Loong at the opening of a market for Malaysia’s farm produce - Agrobazaar Malaysia, the first of its kind in Singapore.
PM Najib’s visit and the launch of Agrobazaar Malaysia in Singapore underscored the excellent state of bilateral relations between Singapore and Malaysia and reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect and common benefit, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
The Agrobazaar is an initiative by the Malaysian Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry and the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) to promote the country’s agro-based products.-VNA
