Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – A total of 1,303 schools in Malaysia will be implementing the Dual Language Programme (DLP) in 2018, said the country’s Education Ministry.

The programme was offered to various pilot schools of the country in one year, which allows students to study Mathematics and Science in English.

It is expected to help Malaysian youths to increase their competitiveness at a global standard. Statistics showed that students in DLP-applied schools have remarkably improved their English.

Deputy Education Minister of Malaysia Kamalanathan said that the DLP will be launched in more schools across the country in the future.-VNA
