Market dips on low volume
The VN-Index shed about 1 percent on
Oct. 26 to close at 609.34, as trading volume on the HCM Stock Exchange
dropped to only about half of last Friday’s session, reaching just 77.3
million shares and a combined value of 4 trillion VND (224.7 million
USD).

Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) nailed down the spot as the most active share during the day’s trading, with a volume of 4.4 million.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index slid by 2.1 percent to end the day at 209.77.
Market value totalled 2 trillion VND ( 112.4 million USD) on a volume of 41.9 million shares, with Asia Commercial bank (ACB) responsible for 4.3 million trades.
Foreign investors were net buyers overall on both stock exchanges on Oct. 26, but picked up only a moderate net total of just 400,000 shares./.
