The southeast border province of Binh Phuoc on January 27 held a reburial for remains of 72 military volunteers returned from the Kratie and Kongpongthom provinces of Cambodia.

Vice Chairman of the Binh Phuoc People’s Committee Nguyen Huy Phong said at the funeral that the administration would do its best to bring as many as possible “sons of the Vietnamese motherland lying on the Cambodian soil back home”.

Over the past nine years, Binh Phuoc on the border with Cambodia has reburied remains of 2,060 soldiers repatriated from the neighbouring nation./.
