Foreign investors are expected to make up between 10 and 15 percent of some 500 pavilions at a fair on trade, tourism and investment in the Mekong Delta, which is to open in An Giang province from May 21-26, organisers have announced.
The An Giang provincial administration said at a press briefing in Ho Chi Minh City on May 5 that interested foreign investors mostly came from Cambodia, Laos and France .
The exhibits will range from farm produce to seafood, consumer goods, food, household utensils, footwear, apparels and construction materials.
The fair, the fourth of its kind so far, will include a workshop on the Cambodia market, that has been registered for participation by a large number of Vietnamese and Cambodian enterprises, trade promotion centres and industrial associations.
A survey on the Cambodia market is also expected to take place during the fair, said organisers./.
