The Mekong Expo 2011 themed "Cooperation, investment and development for
the Mekong River Delta" opened on April 28 in the southern city of
Can Tho .

The Expo drew the participation of enterprises from not only Mekong Delta but also cities and provinces including Ho Chi Minh City , Tay Ninh, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Da Nang .
The enterprises are showcasing products on economic achievements and potential of their localities, machineries and equipment serving industry, environmental protection and food processing and traditional craft products, as well as electronic products and consumer goods.
In particular, the expo features beauty products and services. Artistic performances and folk games will be part of activities to entertain visitors.
The expo will last till May 4./.
