The US chemical companies that supplied Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin for the US army to spray during the war in Vietnam should take responsibility for the damage they caused to the Vietnamese people, especially the second and third generations, who are still suffering from dioxin-related diseases.
General Secretary of the Mexican Labour Party, Senator Alberto Anaya Gutierrez emphasised this during his visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico City on July 30.
Gutierrez reaffirmed his support for Vietnamese AO victims in their current struggle for justice.
On the occasion, the senator also granted 120 wheelchairs to the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange (VAVA) to help victims in the country./.
