As many as 35 Japanese contemporary works, including drawings, oil paintings and video art, will be on display in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from June 8-July 21.
The exhibition “Winter Garden: Japanese Micropop Contemporary Art” is part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan.
The displayed works were made by 14 Japanese artists who have been engaged in the art since the late 1990s.
Of the works, there are three videos of Koki Tanaka, who is chosen as an outstanding Japanese artist to take part in the upcoming biennial international art exhibition “La Biennale di Venezia” in Italy.-VNA
