830,000 VND (39.84 USD) from the present 730,000 VND (35 USD) from May

According to a decree signed by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on April 4, the new salary will be applied in State agencies, the armed force, political organisations, socio-political organisations, and non-productive units.
Those working at State-owned one-member limited liability companies established under the Enterprise Law will also benefit from the salary rise.
Allowances and other benefits will also increase proportionally./.
