Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2013 to take place in Hoi An

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed to allow the central province of Quang Nam to organise the 3 rd Miss Ethnic Vietnam competition.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed to allow the central province of Quang Nam to organise the 3rd Miss Ethnic Vietnam competition.

The final round of the pageant, co-organised by the International Advertising and Trade Fair Joint Stock Company (CIAT), will take place in Hoi An ancient town from June 5-21.

The competition is part of the 5th “Quang Nam heritage festival” programme, aimed at responding to the 10 th anniversary of the UNESCO convention on protecting intangible heritages and further strengthening the great national solidarity.

The preliminary round of the competition will be held in Ho Chi Minh City in early May, while semi-final rounds for the north and south will take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City respectively from May 9-19.

In the final round, the contestants - who come from every corner of Vietnam and belong to every ethnic group will compete wearing traditional ethnic costumes, swimsuits and evening dresses.
