victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Vietnam.
The campaign was launched at a ceremony in Prague on September 21 to announce those who will compete in the final round of the pageant.
At the event, President of the Development Worldwide association (DWW) Daniel Svoboda - one of the contest’s sponsors – handed over 5,000 USD raised in the US to the board in order to help clean up herbicides left by the war in A Luoi district, the central province of Thua Thien Hue.
The biennial pageant is sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic. This year marks the 4th time the event has been held by the Vietnamese Association in the country and Vietmedia company.-VNA
