The provincial People’s Committee will cooperate with the Vinpearl Land Tourism Joint Stock Company to organise the event, according to the ministry’s Decision 1336/QD-BHVTTDL issued on April 14.
The qualifying round will be held from May 20-August 30 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi for contestants from Vietnam.
Contestants living in the American region will compete in the US, and those from Europe will gather in the UK.
Russia will be the venue for beauties from the former Soviet nion countries and the Republic of Korea for those living in Asian countries.
The event will be the second of its kind after the first was held at Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang in 2007 in which Ngo Phuong Lan won the crown./.
