The capital city plans to invest in three more clean water supply projects in several suburban districts, according to Hanoi Clean Water Service Company.

The projects, to be finished by 2015, will be implemented in thirsty communes of Thanh Oai, Thuong Tin and My Duc districts.

The investment capital of the projects totals 356 billion VND (16 million USD), with 60 percent coming from the state budget through the National Target Programme on Rural Water Supply and Sanitation, 30 percent from World Bank’s loan and the remaining mobilised from local communities.

During 2013, the Hanoi Clean Water Service Company attaches much importance to broaden the clean water supply system to the suburban areas.-VNA
