A ceremony was held for the reburial of nine Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts, who lost their lives in Laos during wartime, on May 13.
The service was held at the Nam cemetery for war heroes in Huong Son district, the central province of Ha Tinh.
The remains of the fallen, who have yet to be identified, were retrieved from the Lao province of Bolikhamsay by the Ha Tinh Military Command during the 2013-14 dry season.
The team has brought home 694 war heroes from Laos since 1999, according to the provincial Military Command.-VNA
