On 26 August, a number of young Vietnamese and Chinese people attended a seminar on ‘Business Start Up’ in Liuzhou City in China, as part of the Vietnamese-Chinese Youth Festival which is currently ongoing in the Chinese province of Guangxi.

The Deputy Chairman of Liuzhou City’s People’s Committee, Yao Xiao Guang, said that the seminar would encourage young people from both countries to start up their own businesses, which is typical of many young people today, and they make an important contribution to the socio-economic development process of both countries.

The Secretary of Hanoi’s Youth Union Committee, Ngo Duy Hieu, confirmed that the Vietnamese-Chinese Youth Festival is of great significance and helps to promoting friendship and mutual understanding of the Party, and especially between young people of both countries. He added that ‘Business Start-Up’ is one the largest youth movements in Vietnam, and that many young people from across the country take part.
