My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO-recognised world heritage site in Quang Nam province’s Duy Xuyen district, dates from the 4th to the 13th centuries by the Kings of Champa.
Indian and Russian experts visited My Son sanctuary in Quang Nam Province from late June to early this month to help restore and preserve the UNESCO World Heritage site.
More than 100 objects and photos, including 100 year-old images, featuring the preservation and development of the UNESCO-recognised My Son Sanctuary in the central province of Quang Nam are on display at an exhibition that opened on November 21.
The My Son Sanctuary management board has received five collections of ancient Cham script books – related to old rituals or worship ceremonies of the Cham people in central Vietnam – from a local collector, contributing to precious data for the UNESCO-recognised world heritage site.
