Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said Bangladesh and Myanmar held bilateral negotiations on the issue.
Addressing a joint press conference with Myanmar’s State Counsellor and Foreign Minister Aung San Suu Kyi at Nay Pyi Taw on November 19, Wang said the first phase is aimed to achieve a ceasefire so that local residents can no longer be displaced.
