NA Chairman highlights efforts to great national unity

The NA Chairman made the statement duringhis meeting with people from the three residential areas of Tran HungDao ward in Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi on November 17 on the occasion ofthe 84th founding anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front(VNUF) (November 18, 1930-2014).

The event, which is organised inresidential areas nationwide, becomes the festival of solidarity,helping enhance connectivity among residential communities thus shapingwell-being areas, he said.

He praised the residential areas’efforts in implementing policies of the Party, State and the VietnamFatherland Front (VFF), expressing his hope that people in the ward andthose throughout the country in general will continue to retain thesolidarity and actively get involved in the country’s movements.

Duringthe meeting, participants looked back the formation and development ofthe VNUF, the precursor of the VFF, as well as recent activities andachievements reaped by authorities and local people of the theeresidential areas.-VNA

National, local traffic safety committees to be dissolved from June 1

Under the dicision, ministries and ministerial-level agencies will assume responsibility for tasks previously performed by the committee, in line with their mandates under the Law on Government Organisation, the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, the Law on Roads and other relevant legal frameworks, ensuring that traffic safety and order are maintained without disrupiton.
