Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and his delegation left the city of Yangon on July 26, concluding their official visit to Myanmar.

Earlier the same day, NA Chairman Hung attended a seminar on developing the application of information technology in Vietnam-Myanmar banking and financing.

Addressing the event, the Vietnamese leader spoke highly of the assistance from Myanmar’s Government and authorities in facilitating Vietnamese enterprises in the country.

He expressed his belief that the symposium will open up a wealth of opportunities for the two nations to advance collaboration in the field, thereby benefiting sustainable development and cooperation between the two countries, and the Vietnamese NA and Myanmar’s Parliament.

Before the seminar, the Vietnamese guests visited the Golden Pagoda, which preserves a host of precious things for Buddhist followers in Myanmar.-VNA
