The National Assembly (NA) on November 12 approved a resolution on the adjustments to the 2013 budget estimate and planned budget spending for 2014.

During the ongoing sixth session, the NA also passed the proposal of the Prime Minister to dismiss a deputy PM and appoint a new person to the position.

Accordingly, Vu Duc Dam will leave his position as Minister-Chairman of the Government Office to become the new Deputy Prime Minister.

The deputies also debated adjustments and supplements to several articles of the Domestic Waterway Traffic Law and the draft revision of the Notary Law.

On November 13, the deputies are scheduled to consider personnel work and listen to a verification report on the Bankruptcy Law.

In the afternoon, they will discuss a master plan of hydropower plants and the adjustments and supplements to Resolution No. 38/2004/QH11 on investment for the construction of the Ho Chi Minh Road.-VNA
