its 20 th meeting in Hanoi on August 12 to discuss a range of
draft laws and several ordinances and decrees.

Addressing the meeting, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said the session and upcoming ones will focus on preparations for the 13 th National Assembly’s sixth session , which is to work out measures to promote the country’s socio-economic development, defence and security.
The committee is scheduled to spend one day to scrutinize the draft revisions to the 1992 Constitution.
It will also hear reports on the implementation of policies and laws on ensuring the quality of curricula and textbooks for general education.
During the meeting, the Ministers of Justice and Natural Resources and Environment will answer questions related to management in their sectors.
After the opening, NA Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son presided over discussions on the draft ordinance on mobile police.-VNA
