NA Standing Committee debates use of state capital at enterprises

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee looked into the inclusion of the draft Law on Management and Use of State Capital Invested in Production and Business at Enterprises (amended) into the law and ordinance building programme in 2023, during its 14th session in Hanoi on August 11.

Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assembly (NA)Standing Committee looked into the inclusion of the draft Law on Management andUse of State Capital Invested in Production and Business at Enterprises(amended) into the law and ordinance building programme in 2023, during its 14th session in Hanoi on August 11.

The amendment aims to perfect institutions andensure the stability of the legal environment for the investment of statecapital in production and business at enterprises, as well as the managementwork, said Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long.

It is also intended to raise the operational efficiencyof State-owned enterprises, promoting their key role in the national economy,he continued.

The committee agreed with the proposals to amend thelaw and include the bill into the 2023 programme.However, it asked the government  to quickly complete the proposal dossier to besubmitted to upcoming meetings.

Opinions from the committee and agencies of thelegislature should be taken into consideration during the perfection of the dossier,it said./.

NA Standing Committee’s 51st session spotlights reformed lawmaking approach

After more than a year of implementing the 2024 Land Law and guidance documents, the new policies have yielded initial positive results, helping unlock land resources for socio-economic development. Under the resolution, ministers, heads of agencies, and chairpersons of municipal and provincial People’s Committees are requested to uphold accountability, promote solidarity, and focus on effectively implementing resolutions and directions of the Party, National Assembly, Government and the Prime Minister, particularly on priority tasks through the end of 2025.
