Hanoi (VNA) – The 32nd session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee is scheduled to take place from March 11 to 13.

The NA Office announced on March 8 that during the session, legislators will discuss the draft law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on State Audit, the draft revised Law on Militia and Self-Defence Forces, the draft laws on architecture and library, and the draft revised Law on Education.

The NA Standing Committee will also give opinions about the parliament’s draft resolution on the settlement of tax arrears, fines, overdue fines, and arrears of taxpayers who went bankrupt or dissolved, who no longer have production and business activities, or who are unable to pay taxes.

At the session, participants will consider the approval of a resolution on re-organising administrative units at the district and communal levels between 2019 and 2021.

They will look into the establishment of the district-level township of My Hao in Hung Yen province and the communal-level town of Vinh Vien in Long My district, Hau Giang province.

The parliamentarians will also scrutinise a resolution regulating posts and titles that have the highest ranks of lieutenant general and major general in the people’s public security force, according to the NA Office.–VNA
