Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em will represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2016 which will be held in the Philippines in October.

Em is 1.73m tall and weighs 50kg. She was previously a Top 10 finalist at Miss Universe Vietnam 2015, and a beauty queen at a Mekong Delta region beauty pageant.
“We have considered many beauties, Em is the only candidate to represent Vietnam to attend the pageant,” said Nguyen Chien Huu, from Helios Company which has the right to send candidates to the Miss Earth contest.
The company will send a dossier to the Department of Performing Arts to ask for permission to send Nam to the contest.
Em often takes part in fashion and music events. She also joins social works including visiting orphans and calling on people to protect the environment. She’s active in improving her image, joining soft skill training courses and learning English.
Vietnam will return to the Miss Earth pageant after a three-year absence. The pageant is expected to be attended by representatives from 90 countries and territories.-VNA
