National Assembly Chairman greets Bulgarian Vice President
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung held a reception in Hanoi on November 27 for visiting Bulgarian Vice President Margarita Popova.
National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung welcomes Bulgarian Vice President Margarita Popova (Source: VNA) The Chairman said the Vice President's visit would have a significant influence on the Vietnam-Bulgaria traditional friendship and co-operation as the two countries celebrated the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations.
He said Vietnam was thankful for the support of the government and people of Bulgaria during Vietnam’s struggle for independence, as well as its nation building and modernisation efforts.
Vice President Popova expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome and praised Vietnam for its socio-economic development. She said Bulgaria always valued the Vietnam-Bulgaria relationship.
The two leaders agreed that bilateral exchanges between the two countries should be increased, along with economic co-operation.-VNA
