National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has hoped for Vietnamese and Cuban law makers to work together in enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between their National Assemblies.

During the March 27 reception in Hanoi for her Cuban counterpart Ana Maria Mari Machado, who is in Hanoi for the 132 nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliament Union (IPU-132) from March 28-April 1 , Ngan declared that the Vietnamese Government always gives priority to bolstering solidarity and multi-faceted cooperation with Cuba.

For her part, Ana Maria Machado remarked that the IPU-132 offers a good chance for the two nations’ legislative bodies to tighten their ties, thus consolidating and expanding the bilateral relations.
She thanked the Vietnamese Government and people for their value support for Cuba’s national construction and development, expressing her desire that Vietnam will assist her country in the future.

The guest also highly valued Vietnam’s preparations for the event, expressing her belief that IPU-132 will be successful.-VNA
