Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland held aceremony in Warsaw on September 2 marking the 75th anniversary ofNational Day and the 70th anniversary of Vietnam – Poland diplomaticties.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador toPoland Nguyen Hung highlighted historic milestones and achievements made byVietnam over the past 75 years.

He expressed his belief that the ties between Vietnam and Poland will continue growing in various areas, especially in economy and trade.

Chairman of the Poland – Vietnam FriendshipParliamentarians’ Group G. Napieralski affirmed that Poland always treasurestraditional friendship with Vietnam, considering Vietnam a partner of topimportance in Asia.

He hoped that the 70th anniversary willopen up a new period to lift bilateral ties to a greater height in variousareas.

He also thanked the Vietnamesecommunity for offering timely and effective support to Polish medical staff inthe fight against COVID-19 in the past time.

The same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in Austriaalso held a ceremony to offer incense to President Ho Chi Minh on theoccasion./.
